- Much greater energy efficiency (can be solar-powered).
- Much longer lifetime between replacement, measured in years rather than months. Some of the longer lifetime is due to the fact that the light is an array which allows the light to be used even if some of the LEDs in the array are dead.
- Brighter illumination with better contrast against direct sunlight, also called 'phantom light'.
- The ability to display multiple colours and patterns from the same lamp. Individual LED elements can be enabled or disabled, and different colour LEDs can be mixed in the same lamp.
- Much faster switching.
- Instead of a sudden burn-out like incandescent-based lights, LEDs start to gradually dim out when they wear out, allowing transportation maintenance departments to be warned well in advance as to when to change the light. Occasionally, particularly in green LED lenses, segments prone to failure will flicker rapidly beforehand.
- Automatic brightness regulation;
- Cost-effective reconstruction for all the existing incandescent-based systems, since all LED based systems have a 220V screw taps, identical to the incandescent-based ones.
LIGHT SIGNAL DISPLAY
Purpose of use: The Light Traffic display is a doubledischarge light-emitting diodes (LED) panel comprising of 7 (seven) individual segments. It is mainly implemented in the traffic light systems and is usually used to visualize a rotating traffic light phase. The timer displays the remaining time of the current traffic light phase – using red colored digits for the red colour interval and green digits for the green signal phase.

a) neutral, red, amber, green (the light signal display is powered by the electrical signal chains of the traffic light)
b) neutral, 220V phase, red, green (applicable for all LED traffic light systems)
- in controller system managed timers for both interface RS 232 – L1 and RS 232 – L2 – double wired, semi-duplex mode. For RS 485 – L A and RS 485 – L B interfaces double wire ( additional double wire to each interface connection index, as well as the above listed electrical chains) is used.

Viewing Angle
- All light indicators are filled with oval bright screen LEDs with a very wide viewing angle (120/40°)
Luminescence brightness
- Maximal brightness in direct sunlight conditions - 400 Cd
- The luminescence brightness of the light signal display is fluently controlled automatically ranging from 100% in direct sunlight conditions to 20% during the night, ensuring the visual comfort of the drivers - clear visibility during the day and no blinding when it is dark.
Conditions of Guarantee
The manufacturer’s guarantee is for a period of 5 years from the date the product is installed and comes under the following terms and conditions:
- The product has been transported and stored as per the product’s passport instructions;
- Damage or failure inflicted are not caused by:
- Faulty installation
- Electrical damage (provoked by overcharging the input / output chains or by excessive voltage)
- Mechanical or any other kind of damage caused by the inappropriate use of the product;
The guarantee covers all repair, module replacement and labour related costs. All faulty modules are replaced only upon shipment to the manufacturer’s or any of its official service representatives’ addresses. |
